01Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and ASEGYA (“ASEGYA”, “we”, “us”). They apply together with our Privacy Policy. If you use our services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

02Definitions

03Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, to use the Services. If an account is required, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

04Permitted use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Services for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

05Acceptable-use rules

You agree not to:

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

06Intellectual property

The Services, including the ASEGYA name, the “अ से ज्ञ” and “A to Z” marks, logos, design, text and software, are owned by ASEGYA or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from them without our prior written consent, except as these Terms or applicable law allow.

07Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit (for example, a message, a complaint or an attachment). You grant ASEGYA a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit it and that it does not break the acceptable-use rules above.

08Third-party services

The Services may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, hosting, push notifications, identity or payment providers). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

09Availability & changes

We work to keep the Services available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of them at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change and, for significant updates, we will give reasonable notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Any reliance on the Services is at your own risk.

11Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASEGYA and its officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ASEGYA harmless from claims, damages, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law — will continue to apply.

14Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at our registered place of business in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Where the law requires, we will first attempt good-faith resolution of any dispute before formal proceedings.
